I am almost positive that my first run will go back to my customers no later than this Friday. My second run will not include chroming the aluminum exhaust tips. I will polish the tips for my customers in the second run. The chroming of the plastic panels went very smoothly the first time and I expect it to be just as smooth the second time around. I am however going to charge some sort of labor rate for sanding the plastic pieces and removing the stickers from them. I might even charge some labor for my expert polishing skills I will use on the tips.

So hit this message back if you are at all interested in getting your plastic exhaust covers chromed and your aluminum exhaust tips polished.

I will work up the pricing for this later on this week.------Cubby

I got some awesome news for you guys wanting to get in on the second order of chrome exhaust. I will be able to chrome the aluminum tips for the second run. The turnaround time on the tips is now quicker than the plastic. BUT the cost went up quite a bit. The plastic pieces will stay the same price but will go up if I have to prep them by removing the decals and sanding them smooth with 2000 grit sand paper.

Prepped plastic covers will cost as before $30 per cover.

Non prepped plastic covers will cost $50 per cover

Tips just polished by me will cost $30 per tip

To have the tips chromed to match the plastic covers will cost $60 per tip

And $20 for shipping from me to the chromer, back to me , then back to you.

I am not making money on the chroming process at all. I am making some money on my prepping and polishing services. You are more than welcome to polish and prep the parts yourself to save yourself some cash as my time is pretty valuable now that I have a new job. -----Cubby

Cubby, you need to find out how to chrome the snow flap. Then the reflection will cause everyone to back off. You may need a welding helmet to look at your sled with all that glare. Looks good Cubby!

Cubby, those are so sweet! I know you had your address on here but how bout again please? Do you want the covers now? I would love this done. this time around! Thanks, Honk
P>S What was the part number on those clear tail lights again? Thanks

Here's my address to send your pieces to :

Jeff "Cubby" Gasier
38325 Brighton Path
Willoughby, Ohio, 44094

And don't forget to send a check with the parts. Just total up what you want done from the prices I posted above.

Also so I dont get into trouble with anyone I am making a cut off date. I also need at least 6 people to commit to this and send me their parts or this run will not happen.

So I have to have everyones parts at my house NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 15th. Also please let me know on this thread if you want this done so I can count up how many guys I have for this run.------Cubby

Chroming the tips is not a problem now. I can do those anytime they come in to me.

It's the plastic that I need to have at least 6 sets to send to the plastic chromer.---------------Cubby
