I just contacted Scott from Bergstroms and he told me he makes triple points for the curve ski's. Has any one run the triple points on the ski's? I am wondering if this is too much carbide for the ski since the ski does so much more with the snow compare to the normal yami ski that I used last season.

Our bolt pattern is the same as a C&A or Slydog. We have quite a few people on Apex's with Bergstroms but I'm not sure if there are any Nytro customers. We typically offer a 6" round bar for that machine but if you decide to go with the Bergs, make sure you run a bar with very little carbide... 4" or so.

I just received a set of 8" from Bergstrom to run on my stock skis for my XTX. Why only 4"? That's like a girls runner.

Thanks Truck! We take customer service VERY seriously at Curve Industries.

SledFreak, haha! Curve XS skis don't like a lot of carbide. We recommend a 4" round bar on the 121" Nytro and really, only a 6" round on the XTX. We don't have any personal experience with Bergs so it's best to play it safe as a 4" Bergstrom will most definitely be more aggressive than a 4" round bar.

When you say don't like a lot of carbide, do you mean they start to steer real heavy? or will it actualy make them start darting. I'm just concerned about those nice ice corners that we get here in maine in the spring.

Running a large carbide on our skis will increase steering effort with no added performance elsewhere. The Nytro in particular seems to prefer less carbide in general... then again, we have some XTX customers running 9" round bars and love it. I suppose it depends on your preference and suspension setup however we always prefer to stay on the less aggressive side of things.
