Since I am having a squealing problem with my sled I am thinking of switching to the above belt part. 138-4432-U3. Snowtech says better performance etc softer belt less slippage. More explaination in Belt Squealing Post. Any feedback on this belt ( durability, performance etc.)would be appreciated. I am going to have alignment checked etc but if belt has been damaged was thinking of trying this new belt. :exc:

I use that belt with cosiderable results over stock belt,my application is for the 03 RX1 make sure to wash new belt with soap & water and clean clutches prior to installation.

I tend to do mostly trail riding so is it worthwhile? Also I like to break trail a bit & with 3 feet of powder down I have found the Attak to be fine for doing that. Nice not having to spin the track. I added the belly pan & A- Arm protectors which helps keep the nose up. Those are my principal uses. I am center studded for safety & traction 4X 2 pattern up the middle. For those wondering if the belt squealing was from deep snow, it isn't, as it acts the same on groomed trails or in the powder. I may still go Ultimax if take off is better as corner to corner running is still what I enjoy most. Short fun drags as well with buddies so if the Ultimax will help with my buddies new 800 R Renegade then all the better (haven't raced him yet as his sled is new).
