HI people new to site and yamaha first ever 03 RX1. Went for a blast saturday night everything perfect. Got up this morning turn key not A thing gave her A boost way to go but no tac/gaugesor warmers but ran good.So my Question is do the battery go like that

it can happen, they short out and there done. with the sled being an 03 how old is the battery. the guages need a good battery in the sled or they go crazy or dont work at all. when you shut off the sled use the key not the kill button, as the key in the on position will kill the battery.

He told me the battery was never change so iam going to try a new one.So the gauges wount run off her own power when she is running????.

The battery may have froze and caused a dead short. It then taes all of the juice the sled can make, becuse it is a big dead draw. Maxdlx

staffbuoy, I seldom get more than 4 or 5 years out of the battery. That's probably because I don't take care of them during the off season but to each their own.

Please take the time to update your location in your Profile.

Thanks!
