You guys are still beating on this dead horse , by now we all know they are no good for any kind of riding except for drag racing.
They make a little more power if perfectly tuned for a specific altitude and temp. Don't put them on a sled and expect to just ride it, they are a one trick pony and not all that good at that one trick. One is better of to spend the money on one of the new single pipe lightweight exhaust, at least they are reliable and sound great. :4STroke: if you don't F___ em up.

Not sure what you are trying to say. Did you get bored or something?

Funny mine made really good power alot better than stock and ran perfect no problems 2600 miles. Apparently you have never worked on performance for a motorcycle the engines are so wrung out from the factory that small HP gains are all you get at the top. You can clean up the power curve quite a bit though.

You'd have to pry mine from my cold dead hands. I can't believe people are still reacting negatively to this. I love mine, they make great power not to mention all the additional help that Freddie has given me. Thanks for everything Freddie.

Ya know...being a business owner has its perks. But when someone tries to tell you that all you have done on a project or part brought to market is a slap in the face.

I thank everyone who has contributed to trying to solve problems for the few that have had them. I am admitting that some are having problems but at this time there are few. Nonetheless, how about calling me or once again there have been quite a few suggestions on how to fix these problems...how many have you tried? I have yet to get any answers to that question!

If your not part of the solution, you must be part of the problem.

Sorry to prophecize but enough already. I don't care to delete any negative posts becasue regardless of what the problem is, there is good in hearing everyones ideas on how to fix. But slandering my product line will result in my deleting the post if everyone can't try to offer good reasonable ideas on how to fix the problems they are encountering.

Learn some respect and try to play nice. Otherwise I am going to find out where you all work and start ugly rumors about you with your co-workers and bosses. Some of them might even be true!

Now play nice.

No frickin snow here either Prairie and I hear yah about that 20 happy customers might tell 1 or 2 others but 1 unhappy customer will gripe for months and tell everyone he knows.

No disrespect Freddie

From what I hear you look after your customers well , Im the first one to appreciate that.
If the RX1 would have a tunable fuel-injection system we would not even need this post. Yamaha is stuck back where cars were in the early 80 trying to meet emissions with carbs , didn't work that well there either.
Here in the mountains we ride from 2500 feet up to 8000 feet on average.
Often when it is cold down low we have a inversion and it is warm up high. You can go from-20 to just around freezing in a few thousand feet.
Anything sucking hot air from under the hood has big problems specially in deep powder with the vents covered by snow and WOT for extended periods of time. If you come up with a cold air intake from behind the windshield I will put my money down right now.
;)!
To be able to get EFI with it would be even better.
Any air-intake mods I have seen on the RX1 (you are not alone) make it behave like the big twins with no air-box. When the snow is set up no powder and you are set up perfect for the day they go great , especially if you take of the hood so they have cold intake air. Drag-racing Great. On trails where you don't change elevation much with lots of airflow, fine.
But in the Mountains we need it to work well in changing conditions.
Right now all we have is a stock air-box that kinda works but not that well either. You guys are right about one thing there definitely is room for improvement. Have fun out there whatever you do that is what it is all about.
