What setup are you guys using for deep snow riding? I have done the center spring mod by going with the 160lb but I find that the sled trenches and don't more alot of snow. I have the 2.25" power claw and the 8'' slydog skis. Last week I was riding with some summit's and I found those sleds move alot of snow when climbing in the deep stuff. My Viper would not throwsnow like those sleds. Not sure if it's just a setup issue or not.

If the deep snow is soft, then pulling up your limiter straps will help reduce trenching. Effectively what this does is reduce the track approach angle, which in turn helps the sled climb up on top of the snow more instead of digging in to it. Also when you shorten your limiter straps you may want to back off the center shock spring pre-load as well.
Usually it's best to make small adjustments at a time and try it.
