I got my slydog 7 inch powder hounds, they dont seem to fit with the stock hardware .
Just wondering did You do any modifications?the old bushings wont fit the new skis.
Some info on how you did the install would be awesome, iam sure iam probley missing something real easy.
Thanks[/QUOTE
I didn't modify anything. What bushings are you having trouble with? I left the oem bushing in the knuckle and reused the oem nut and bolt.

i think the reason his fit "ok?" was the tuner ski setup stock. i know on my 14 it came with mountain skis. i didnt try using the stock rubber since i contacted slydog first and they recommended the link i posted.
all in all i think you will like these skis. ive been running the 7" powder hounds for a few years now.

Here is a few close up pictures, Not sure if this will help or not.
The picture of the orange ski shows the slydog rubber, I think its kinda wimpy compared to the OEM rubber that come on the Turner Ski.

Subaru2006 let me re-phrase when I said they fit "ok" . They fit perfect, no mods, no fuss, fits like its a OEM part on the SE model that came with Turner skis.
The LE model came with mountain skis so I did use the slydog rubber from the kit. If I was to order them again I would not even ordered a kit for the LE model because all that's needed is to cut off the nubs with the razor blade on the OEM rubber and it would fit perfect, With the nubs on the bottom its 3/8 inch to tall. Once there cut off the rubber looks just like what comes with the Turner ski. I will still switch back to the factory rubbers next time I have the skies off and cut those nubs off.

I already know I am impressed 6 years ago when we switched to them
Been running these 8inch skies on the previous sleds for 5 years. We knew we wanted Slydogs for the new vipers without question.
Ok Mother Nature, bring it!

What size bar are you guys running. I've had 6" shapers on the last 4 years?

Just the cheap 4 inch carbide that Slydog sells. Keep in mind we run very little on trails or down roads so the bars are the last thing on my mind, just round bar would probably work fine for us. On our last set of Slydogs we got 4 years out of the same 4inch carbide bar.

Yup.. I run about 75/25 on/off. This combo works really nice.
