Different shocks on an Apex Mountain?

Has anyone tried installing longer shocks on their Apex Mountain? Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they are 16.5" long, and I was thinking about maybe putting on a shock that is maybe a half an inch longer to get the ride height of the front end higher.

How long are Nytro shocks? Has anyone swapped Nytro shocks onto their Apex?

The apex trail shocks are longer then the mtn ones. Dont quote me but I think the mtn are 16" and the trail ones are 16.5".

Nytro ones have a different mount on them if I remember correctly.

Mountain shocks are 15.5 and the wide frond end on the trail sled is 16.5

If you raise the center of gravity the handling goes down the tubes.

Bigger skis will keep the frond end up------- 8 inch wide or more works well.

I love gen 2s with the cut out. Just my 2 cents worth.
