Different turbo options?

If you want something built to OEM Yamaha standards wait for the kit from MPI their stuff looks like it was made by Yamaha themselves. If you want something that looks like it was built by a guy in his garage then go with any of the other options. I had an MCX kit not nearly the quality of the MPI kits but it's all in what a man is willing to wait for. MCX builds nice stuff no doubt but the MPI stuff is just that much better.

I have to disagree. The Push turbo kit is super clean and looks like an OEM install with everything plug and play and it bolts right in with no mods required to the sled. From what I have heard from others the Hurricane kit is much the same. MPI is not the only company capable of making an OEM fit & finish quality turbo kit.

The MPI kit that is endorsed by Yamaha does not have the intercooler and it gives you about 180 HP. The Push kit has an intercooler which allows it to put out about 215 HP on premium pump gas. Plus the Push kit takes in the intake air from the nose of the sled instead of that ugly snorkel on the MPI kit.

What's the warranty like on the push kit

Any other info? Seriously considering canceling my mpi

I plan on buying the Push kit myself if I decide I am not happy with the sled stock once I get to actually ride it.

Yeah I got a chance to demo ride one last february out of Marquette. Loved the sled, great handling, ride, fit n finish, but didn't wanna downgrade in power from my apex

Boost-it kit is almost double the price. Probably a good kit but doesn't really compare to the other three. Looks like it is aimed pretty much at serious hp and mountain riding. Decided to go with the hurricane kit. Their customer base is almost all trail riders, they have a great price, have kits in stock, will cover your engine warranty for a year if yamaha won't, and Dave is a great guy to work with. Should get my kit Monday or Tuesday, and then I will be headed for snow.

Let us know how you like it after you have put some miles on it.

will do, absolutely can't wait

good choice. will be a one day install easy. i love my kit and seems like everyone who has them does also. had my sled in for the remap yesterday. and the dealer was impressed with the hurricane kit. how it looked, fit, and finish, they have done many yamaha kits so this was quite a compliment i thought. on the remap. i noticed it started better on the first start. hope this is a good sign.
