One of my friend have a 2003 Rx-1 with almost 20 000 km, we were doing is oil change yesterday and we found a lot of aluminium in oil, oil looked like a metallic paint when looking at it with fluorescent light. Very small aluminium (i guess, does'nt glue to the magnet) parts. Its the first time we and i looked at oil directly when it fall down from the oil tank. After 1 min, oil looked nice all part in the bottom.

Oil have 3000 km or more i guess. Color is green-black-brown, does'nt look like an overdue oil, not really black.

His motor is running really strong, rev like new, idle like new, no sound except a loose exhaust donut when cold.

Is this '' fairly normal'' for a almost 20 000 km engine with 05 ring put at 8500 km
