After the hyfax wear from the small 5.125" Yamaha wheels, the dealer installed 5.350" wheels but that was not the answer. I found 5.25" wheels from the cat dealer and they really appear the right balance of supporting the track and allowing some contact with the hyfax.
I had the rear wheel blocks milled down 1.5MM and this appears to allow the wheels to run in the center of the lugs. I will report after some long hi speed runs.
Thanks to everyone on this forum for pointing me in the right direction to solve the problem.

I know that a lot of owners used the doo 135mm wheels with good results. After looking at the track contact with the 135mm wheels, I was apprehensive that the excessive space between the track and the hyfax would cause rail stress and excessive wheel wear. This may be totally unwarranted concern but after installing the 5.25" wheels, they just seamed to fit right.

On the inside of the rails at the front wheels there is a machined piece of billet aluminum running the front length to reinforce the rails. Look at the conditons I ran on Saturday and there was zero wear on my sliders.

Mighty, your seat looks like a humpback whale. Can you shed some light on this?
