I see videos and pictures of the 14's and they show numerical values for things like air intake temps and so on inside the gauge line. I don't have this on my 15' and don't think I have seen pics of videos of 15's with the numbers showing.
Is there a way to have them show? Or has that been removed?
Really I'm just interested in the air temperature readings. I'm so used to looking at outside temp readout in my car I find myself looking down on the viper hoping to see the air temp. I know it would be off when at idle and other times, but it would be accurate when starting up or traveling and having a lot of air moving through.

I'm pretty sure the 2015's have that too. I think you have to go to the air temp and hold down the right side button until it's displayed, or something like that. I can't exactly remember. But it should be in your manual, or I'm sure there are people that know exactly how to do it!! Wish I could help you out better, but I forgot how to do it.

I'm pretty sure the 15 does it too. What you have to do is on the display the button that changes the air intake and coolant temp and volt meter " the bottom left one if I remember correctly. Anyways the one that allows you to change what you want to get to. In your case the intake air temp. Hold that button down for a few seconds then it should add the numerical number inside the bar for you. Hope this helps

Yep, I was able to change my '15 RTX DX so that the numerical value was displayed in the middle of the bar graph. They must come from the factory with just the bar graph (without the numerical value) as the default setting.
You can change it by holding down the lower left button for a few seconds. It doesn't matter which function is displayed when you hold down that button. All three functions (voltage, intake air temp, coolant temp) will change to numerical values after this button is held down.

Thanks for the replies! Not sure why I'm so excited to switch it over lol
And I don't remember seeing that in the manual, I did read it, or at least parts of it

You guys are awesome I was wondering how everyone got exact temp numbers. I also thought maybe it was only 14's. I guess it pays to read manual lol. Thanks a lot for the post vipermatt.

Funny you say that...I was holding down the buttons on that side hoping to have a surprise...unfortunately no numbers came up That would be a great feature.

I have the display set to give bar and numeric values for temp in F . and the last ride i let it idle while and the display went to 199 then to 100 then 101 and up the hundreds digit does not roll over to 2. Its not a big deal as long as the hi temp motor safety shut down is not reading form these numbers. just wondering if any one else has this happening??? does the safety shut down read from display???

Mine has gone as high as 203 F this year. The warning light and ECU operation would usually be a direct feed from the temp sensor and not gage dependant.
