In recent days a few members of the site have voiced displeasure with Yamaha over the 05 Mono Shock skid.

I for one Understand their point. However I don't agree with attacking Yamaha in a post about people being happy they got a Model for snow checking a 06.

If the angry consumers wanted to start their own post stating they think Yamaha should be addressing their 05 issues instead of sending models to 06 buyers I would have had no problem with it.

See I'm also a member of amsnow. A guy by the Name of "Northern Skunk" ruined more good posts by adding crap that had nothing to do with the topic of the posts. For some reason he hated Yamaha. He want to push his agenda in every post about Yamaha. He was later banned!!!! :ORC

I think we need to think before we post!!! That includes me!!!!

Good point Jason...I bought a 2005 knowing that there are a few minor issues with the suspension. Who cares about suspension problems! Fix'em and move on..... :o|

Try being towed 35 MILES behind a 600SDI when your Ski-Doo 800HO REV Blows Up in the middle of nowhere......I would have gladly traded my blown engine for a few minor suspension problems as I watched my buddies ride their sleds! Back to 4-Strokin for me!!!

You can view my reply in the RX section then.

JT I agree, we must all think first then post.

For some, like NS of Amsnow, it was/is obviously their point to slam, insult or bash anyone or any idea or question. I like this site better bcz that just doesn't fly here.

Lets keep it that way, ask question get an answer. Have fun with humor not insults or slams.

Man I can't wait to ride again.

I agree Jason. The 05 mono was brand new. Problems did not really show up in quantity until last Feb and it was end of season before much of it was sorted out. Actually they may have not really sorted it out until close to June for 06 production.
But people dont think and realize that a proper fix needs to be sorted out and it takes time to get it in the pipeline. They will b... and moan about it.
Most everybody here is not going to ride sleds again until December, so THAT would be a good time to go on a tirade if you are not satisfied.
Yamaha is going to step up to the plate on this at least to some degree, so why get your panties in a bunch when it is 90 degrees outside?

The better you build a sled the harder people will beat them..

I beat the living crap out of my 04 Warrior with 3700 miles and the only thing i had a problem with was a pulled threw stud on the track.. THATS IT.. and i bottomed that rear suspension out very hard several times.. YET i heard of all kinds of people breaking W arms.. It just goes to show you that just because one breaks doesnt mean they all will

I thought the relationship between 90 degree weather and pantie bunching was explained in that other thread.
