I hope Yamaha is paying attention to these posts on 2011 $$

i was just comparing prices with the 2010,some models are actually cheaper in 2011,vector ltx gt,vector gt,venture gt,nytro xtx,vk pro, they are not that much cheaper but they are not higher, you can get the base apex with eps and exup and all the other benefits minus gt shocks for the same price, imo it evens out, that's on the canada site

US prices the Vector GT went from $10499 to $10799. The base Apex went from $11399 to $13999???????

I don't think anyone pays full MSRP, however that is used as the baseline. I would bet the new prices will be somewhere between $12,500 & $13500 for the SE Apex. Still approx $2k more than the 2010.

I was just quoted $10,900 on a 2010 about 1 month ago. (Apex GT)

I think that $15,000 for a new sled is pure insanity. How can anyone in the mainstream middle class population justify that? I agree with the guy who started this thread....Yamaha is nuts and took the wind out of their sails.

$15K for a sled...thats crazy.

Maybe this is why they did so much pre-release hype? They knew that when the price came out all the talk would be about price, not the techncal inovation. .
