Looking at the MPI pics, it looks like they cut up their apex hood. Do you have to do that to fit the S/C setup or did they just do that for show?

The MPI supercharger fits in with no modifications to the hood or belly pan.

Mud Nutts, how's it been going? I hope you've had a good summer. The Stage 2 are scheduled to ship October 1st. We are taking names again now, if you still are interested PM me.

Are you at all worried about the open area on the hood where the airbox used to fit? Will there be an issue of snow ingestion in deep powder? Seems like it's wide open for anything to fall in. Am I wrong?

No worries about the open area on the hood, because it will be closed up again by a vented piece which will also pull cold air through the intercooler.

Allen -- Any word from your injection molding guy on that airbox lid replacement peice ??? It's getting so close now I'm thinking of just cutting out the portion I need from the factory airbox lid along that lip with the band saw, attaching the lip from the hood to the lip of the airbox lid together, and drilling a bunch of 3/16 holes in those bumps to let some air in/out over the intercooler.

Hammer, I'll know more after this week. I have 1 grass drag left then I can concentrate on supercharger stuff.

Bossman, they are slowly starting to trickle out. I'll give ya a call this week.

Okydoky, but the stock lid will be going into the saw as soon as I get my SC kit and start to assemble... I hear patience is a virtue... I'll have to work on that... hehehe

Hammer that sounds like a good idea ,what else can you do with that airbox except maybe use it for a suitcase.
