Heard the Sway Bar kit from Schmidt Bros turns the Phazer into a entirely different creature. So I went to order but to my dismay they are weeks away from being produced. I kinda wanted to use it this winter. Anybody besides Schmidt build a sway bar kit for the Phazer? Thanks

Sorry to hear that. Their sway bar made a MAJOR difference to my wifes Mountain lite. Well worth the $$$$$

I'd get in line for the schmidt bros. Best mod I've done to my sled.

I for one am glad that Yamaha didn't do something so stupid. Not everyone wants a flat sled, I like mine as tippy as I can get it and don't mind putting a little effort in to the corners. Plus that thing is fugly as all git out.
I played around with swaybars on mine.Only helped at very slow speeds like under 20mph.If you are looking for srx flat cornering the swaybar is not the issue.Ride hieght and a high center of gravity is the issue.Going wider on skiis and hanging off helps.Only other thing to do is lower the sled.

I would assume the SBM sway bar kit was designed to be used over 20mph.

Please explain. Reading the SB claims is one thing but hearing from someone who uses it would be most helpful.
Thanks

It made the sled feel tighter. Took out that tippy feelin. We ride alot of fire trails and fields with alot of powder in the U.P.The sway bar made it alot easier to control for the wife. When momma is happy I have a much better time riding

The stability in corners and sidehilling is greatly increased. It makes it corner flatter, not pro x, zr, srx flat but ski lift is decreased. There is a definite difference in "feel" when you ride with, and then without the sway bar. I think it looks pretty good and surprising haven't got any commnets on the trail either, most people probably don't notice it. I trail ride most of the time so the flatter it corners the better. It was worth the coin to me.
