I was reading that some skid plates don't fit well under Yami covers. I just got the deluxe Yamaha cover and I want to get the skins skid plate. I have the cover that is not designed for the aftermarket front bumper.

couldnt tell u, but i am interested, cuz i own both. figures the covers in maine and the sled and me are in RI. been using a blanket all summer. good thing its inside!

I think a read awhile back that it does not fit. Classifieds maybe where I seen it ~ reason for selling the cover.
Mine fit fine. I tried the skins cover but it was way tight. Felt like I was shrink wrapping the sled. I like the Yamaha cover better.
Maybe that is what I read ~ not sure.

The Roest skid plate works with every cover and front bumper out there. It is unmatched in strength, fit and finish, and doesn't stack on top of the other body panels. You can run the longer oil filter as well.
