Hey guys, my group and I have combined put over 60,000 miles on our Apexes since we all started riding them years ago. We are all very comfortable changing the exhaust gaskets (donuts) before every season as part of our routine maintenance.
Is this also a requirement for Phazers? Just bought my son a 2012 and wondering if the donuts are needed to be changed on his sled as well.

Yes, same issues as the Apex, I check them every year and also make sure the insulation material is still attached to the upper heat shield. Mine were loose at 3000 miles and I got another 1500 out of them by grinding the spacer down to clamp them better, finally needed changing at 4500 along with the upper heat shield.
