I voted for the nytro, but we are still down 31% to 35% on the doo.
It is a little unfair regarding our votes being split between 3 sleds. And it should be 4 with the phazer.LOL

I personally think that the Doo should win. There first performance four stroke will give a nytro a run in almost every category, beating it in some. You must admit that this is impressive because the Nytro is Yamaha's 5th new 4 stroke. I believe that they deserve this, plus this new sled will push Yamaha to build an even better sled.

Skidoo only much such a good 4 stroke is because of Yamaha,No one had the balls to produce one but Yamaha back in 03. So they took apart every the sled every time Yamaha made a 4 stroke and sat back and watched and learned from Yamaha mistakes. I don't really find it that impressive.
"08" I wouldn't say that no one had the balls! I think it is more of an engine issue. Yami had the motor already so why not tweak a chassis and bolt the R1 engine in it. And I"m pretty sure that the engineering dept at BRP is capable of producing a sled without taking apart other manufacturers sleds. That being said I don't disagree with the fact that they are all copying each other in alot of way's (if that was your point!). It's just like the Auto makers, they are all sharing the same ideas, until one comes out with something that no one else has (and try keep that a secret). Nonetheless I get what you are saying and I think that you would agree that in the sense they are all driving each other in the same direction. As I do agree with you,but when Yamaha made the Rx-1 Skidoo was the 1st to say 4 stroke was not the way too go. Now look at them,They are in the market full force,Guess they like putting there foots in there mouths!1050THMPR said:"08" I wouldn't say that no one had the balls! I only find it funny due to Doo's ads bashing the weight of the 4 strokes. Now they make one, and it is considerably heavier than the 2 stroke variant of the XP.

I don't care what anyone says, you have to give Yamaha credit for bringing a real 4 stroke to the market way back in 2003 when everyone thought they were nuts!! They have stuck with it through the years and have by far one of the best engines on snow and is still to this day the sled that all others benchmark their variants of 4 strokes against! Very forward thinking on Yamaha's part! Polaris and Arctic Cat have a long way to go to catch Doo's technology in the new E-tec if they want to continue to meet EPA standards with the 2 smoke into the future. Doo is now eating crow with the way they bashed the 4 stroke a few years back, like horkn stated! Unless the other 2 brands like I mentioned earlier can produce E-tec like 2 strokes they too will have to look at better developing their 4 stroke lineups!

There is a reason why Doo and Yammi are 1 and 2 in sales.

This survey is stupid. All Yamaha sleds are 4 strokes. They could put every model Yamaha has in their brochure. The other three have one or two models to offer....that's it. If you add up all the %'s Yamaha is leading. Why don't they ask "aren't you glad that the other mfg's are finally offering engines that won't blow up"?

The same could be said for the rider forward position of your nytro.

Actually thats not entirely true,The snoscoot was rider forward. But jumping to rider forward isn't as big as a leap going to two stroke to four stroke!number1kyster said:2008 Nytro RTX said:Skidoo only much such a good 4 stroke is because of Yamaha,No one had the balls to produce one but Yamaha back in 03. You are exactly right about the foot in the mouth, but remember, every manufacturer has had their foot in their mouth a time or two. They don't like it cause they didn't think of it!! But Oh! Look whats in their line up for next year!! Sound Familiar?2008 Nytro RTX said:As I do agree with you,but when Yamaha made the Rx-1 Skidoo was the 1st to say 4 stroke was not the way too go. competition between the manufacturers means we get better products, its a win win situation for all of us, whether you ride doo yamaha polaris or arctic cat.
