Hi every body just wanted to ask if anybody has expermented with drive belts. ive just been running yamaha belts. never had a problem with any belt from yamaha just curios what every body thinks.
thanks

the best is the 8dn the after market belts are good too but will not last as long as the 8dn the after market belts are softer if you are racing then i would recommend the after market belt but for trail riding 8dn is your best bet.

thanks for the heads up i didnt want to wast my money on another belt

X2

ive ran a lot of the Dayco belts on all my sleds, but seems like nothing lasts as long as the yamaha ones, and the yamaha dont take as long to break in.

What about that new Gatorback belt that supposedly "heals' itself? It also is supposed to last a long, long time. Anyone tried it? The Gatorback is like $100 compared to $55-ish for the 8DN- belt at my dealer. I may give the Gatorback a try one day.

damn. that gator would be $200.00 here as i am paying $95.00 for 8dn.

8 dn only. take a licking before they let go.
