The green drive (forward) light on my gauge pod sometimes goes off for awhile and may be intermittent for a while. I have noticed this sometimes in the past but now seems more common. Any ideas what may be causing this and if it is a reason for concern? No codes are showing.
thanks,

It might indicate a warn belt. My drive light would flash when I would let off the gas. I replaced the belt with the updated 8GK belt at the beginning of the season and it has not done it since.

Mine did it too. I never had any problems though.

There is a new belt on it with about 500Km so that shouldn't be the cause.Cubby said:It might indicate a warn belt. My drive light would flash when I would let off the gas. I replaced the belt with the updated 8GK belt at the beginning of the season and it has not done it since.

I've noticed that mine would flicker once in a while while riding but when I look down to check, it stops. So much so that I started believing it was my imagination. I think it could be the switch that detects gear engagement that's causing this. Either defective or needs an adjustment.

I know what you mean, the first few times I thought that I just blinked or something. And then it would stay off for a few seconds and now it is normal again so it must be a glitch.
Edit: Seems to be happening when it is under a load like towing.
