IM selling my 04 warrior to my brother... IT currently has 3500 miles on it..
SHould i be worried about the drive shaft or jackshaft bearings going out on it...??
I havent had any problems with the sled and even the originally boggy wheel bearing look great..

After 4000 miles my jackshaft bearing was in good condition but my driveshaft bearing was toast on my 04.

Best thing you can do is to take the seal off both bearings and check there condition, then grease them at least every 2000 miles/each season.

So do we only have to worry about the clutch side bearings??? I have 4,000 miles and I will be checking the bearings on the secondary side. I assume you cannot easily check the other side. If the clutch side is OK there is no worry ????

How do you "check" a bearing? If you're gonna go to the trouble of checking them, change them. It's not that hard.
