just like the title says. I got my 09 nytro now it has 900 trouble free miles on it. The yami warrany was 800 bones. kind of thinking it was a waist. If i cancel within a year I get all my coin back. What do you think?????

one motor problem, even tho rare, will cost you up to 5 times what u paid. its up to you. its like health insurance. you are taking the bet that you will need it and they are taking the bet that you wont. its just if your willing to take the bet or not.

good call on the health ins.. I'm leaning towards canceling it. Like you said its an 800 dollar gamble :bling

Shop that number around---the dealer I bought my XTX from quoted me $470. You don't have to buy the warrenty from the dealer you bought the sled.

My motor blew and the sled caught fire 1 month after the warranty was up.

If not for the YES, I would have had to part out what was left. Search my post and you will see Yamaha paid for everything under the YES warranty.

I just picked up a leftover 09 XTX with the extra 4 years. I would not own any sled again without an extended warranty. (Read my post what they covered)

If you think about it, it is cheap insurance on a $11000.00 purchase.

It cost me much more than that for health insurance.......and life insurance.

Port Yamaha sells them for 490.00 for an extra 4 years. It's cheap insurance and adds resale. Do you know how much one of these motors are? 5000.00 installed.

not to mention the added resale value when you sell!
I guess the question for me would be if you cancelled the $800 one...would you still be able to buy one for the $470 or $490....or once you cancel one is that it?
if you could ...canel the $800 buy the $470-490 pocket the $310 and its a win win !

X2 - i paid 500 for my Phazer and my son paid 400 for his Nytro for 4 extra years.

you have to purchase YES while the sled is in warranty.

i would keep the woranty unless you are confident nothing will go wrong. If what sj said can be done that is what i would do

Hey Woolyviper,

Where did you go to get that price???

I might be interested in a warranty, and I have'nt driven mine yet.

I called two dealers in MN and told them I bought my sled last spring from another dealer and was looking to buy a warranty. One was just over $500 and the other was $499. Place I bought the sled from wanted $799.

Now I am wondering if I could get a deal on a Camoplast CrossOver track and Warranty at the same time.

The warranty will pay for itself in the long run. If you plan on putting alot of miles on something is going to break. I believe it is bumper to bumper too
