I notice that Woody's prices their duallys individually. You need to buy 2. The single runners are packaged as a pair. Is somebody actually running one dually on their sled?

I have a couple customers that have done it to their Vectors and like it. I run Woodys Slim Jims on both skis with good results.

How is the steering effort? I looking at these for my wife. I'm wondering which steers easier, the Slim Jims or the Doolys. It looks like the Slim Jims stick down farther. Seems like they'd steer harder.I have a couple customers that have done it to their Vectors and like it. I run Woodys Slim Jims on both skis with good results.

I run a set of slim Jim's on my Viper, my dad runs one dually and says it gives him much better cornering response. If your a mild rider I would try one side and if it's not enough you can always buy the other one, that's the beauty of them being sold individually.

I don't think the steering effort is bad, but keep in mind Im 6'4" and 260 lbs. I've definitely driven more aggressive setups. I run the dual 6" carbides, they make 4" as well. After I shimmed my skis and the steering effort went up after that but it also improved the bite.
I have about 1300 miles on these and see no reason to buy different skis/carbides, but to each their own.

Had them on my apex for about 200 mi. and took them off in favor of regular the Doolys. Obviously the added steering effort was a non issue with the power steering but they just had too much bite for my liking. Felt like the sled wanted to roll and lots of inside ski lift. I tried Slim Jims, standard Doolys and Shaper Doolys and found that slim jims had the most bite and shapers had the least. Standard Doolys are best for me. I would expect them to act the same on a Viper but as always sled set-up, conditions and rider preference dictate whats best. BTW, non of these are an option for my Viper with Tuners.
