Dumb Question.

I already know the answer is this,but I have a 2015 viper with MPI Turbo kit, I recently just installed an Ulmer clutch Kit and the MPI Race Muffler. My father seems to think I have to reflash my ECU otherwise my motor will run lean.

Your MPI kit should have a GEMS controller that does just that. You could get a reflash but up until this fall it was not even possible. He may have meant a fuel controller which is what a GEMS is.

Yeah but a clutch kit and muffler shouldn't have to cause you to flash it right?

clutch kit will have no effect on the fuel. It just makes the engine to track connection more efficient. As for the muffler I think you will be fine. Most people have put on cans and not done anything else.

Yes if it is the MPI trail kit 180 hp the gems is preprogrammed for your sled. your electronic boost controller is pre-set at 4.5 lbs and as long as that stuff has not been messed with all will be fine.
