Are they worth it? Also I am confused about the correct part number. Is it SMA-DPSSR-00-00 which I believe are 144”. I thought the xtx was one 146”. I also heard that you should use the ones for the mountain sleds ( SMA-DPSSV-MT-00) and cut them down. The mountain version are nearly 2x the cost.
Please advise.

The Mtn slides are more because the Vespel inserts go back much further than the original DuPont slides. I personally think that they are worth it. I run them on my M20 Airwave. My XTX skid had Excel oversized wheels and DuPont slides. Changed them every season. Don't care about cost because my peace of mind is worth more. I have never made it through an average season on one set of slides . Haven't changed a slide during the season since I started using them.

steiner, the 11-15 apex xtx are 144" tracked sleds. the 16-18 apex xtx are 146" track.

order them for the mtx apex as the ones for the 144" sled end right at the tip up on the rails where the most wear is for me on that sled. do not have them on the 16 yet.

6K miles on my Duponts so far, still look great.
