Dupont Slides

Can't comment on wear yet as I only put on 10 miles today but I tell ya it coasts way better when you let off the throttle. Felt like the kids crazy carpet going down the driveway, I had to hit the brakes to stop!!!!! I would say it has a lot less friction on the track clips.

I have a little over 300 on my set of duponts with zero wear. So good conditions and a lot of marginal conditions. Plus some mudmobiling.

I have 2400 miles on mine in all types of conditions and they are worn to about 15mm right at the wheel where the rail tips up in the back. The rest of them are at about 17mm to 18mm in most spots.

I have to admit that I was skeptical and I had a hard time believing that they were worth more than three times the cost of the standard slides. However after my brand new standard slides were worn down to the limit between my wheels in 70 miles of poor condition riding my first time out this year I decided to give them a try.

After 200 miles of riding in very poor conditions they literally still look like new. Zero wear! I was riding with a couple of buddies and I could smell both of their slides burning but mine were cool to the touch. My sled coasted nicely on the dirty trails where their sleds felt like the brakes were on.

These are the real deal guys and worth every cent IMO. My dealer gave me a discounted price of $50 each and it was the best $100 that I have spent on my sled! I highly recommend these Dupont slides!
