Anyone have any experience with the DuPont slides. Are they worth the extra coin

I used them last year on my Apex. Definitely more durable than stock, but there was still wear at the front bend on both rails. At 5X the price of stock, I doubt they will last 5X as long as stock. Sold the Apex for a Viper, so I'll never know now.
I had them on my nytro xtx and got 1900miles out of them don't know if there worth it or not.
Had them last year on Phazer. I swear it coasted better, slides wore very little and wear was very even entire length. I will use them when stock wears out just for piece of mind......and a little speed!

Had them on my Nytro XTX. I also clipped every window on my track.
I gained top end MPH and better gas milage. Had very little wear on the slides last season after 1500 miles.

5000 miles on mine. They did wear up front where there is no insert so i put wheels up there. I easily get 2 possible 3 years on a pair & i'm not easy on equipment!

I don't think Cat had slide problems so i'm assuming the Vipers won't either...

- 2015 Viper LTX SE blue and white-Ulmer clutching, 8dn belt, MBRP trail can, J&T 4th wheel kit, Shaper bars,
put 3800 mile on min and are good for another 500-800 for sure. At 120.00 for the pair they are definitely worth every penny!!!!!!
