I'm going to do a NOS system. I was pretty sure it was going to be Holtzman. I was recently told that the numbers claimed for their system are not accurate.

Has anyone Dyno ed there Boss, Boon docker, Holtzman, or other NOS system.

I'm talking a crank Dyno not a track dyno.

thanks in advance.

Jason

Jason call Bruce at CB performance, Ive talked to him several times, and i seen his work at Capac Grass drags. His system is SWEET!!! :tg:

viper dynoed at 186 and the warrior eats it with a 60horse spray. i think
the #s on the boss noss kit are right on. i dont have access to the dyno anymore.

Jason,

any details on your info

I was basically told by about 5 to 10 people at the Novi snow show that the Holtzman has been Dynoed and the most HP it made was 20hp. That was on the 45 HP kit. When they did the first pull with the Holtzman fuel specs it only made 10 hp. they leaned it out but it would only make 20HP.

I was also told by someone that rode a Holtman setup that has also road a wet setup rated for the same HP that it didn't feel the same. That the Holtman didn't pull anywhere near as hard as the Wet system did

Sounds to me like they tested it on a track dyno, since our 140 horsepower sleds only put about half of it to the track. Makes sense that a 45 HP shot would only show around 20 HP at the track. Still if you can go from 80 horsepower up to 100 its a 25% increase. Kinda makes you wonder how much a 230 horsepower turbo sled makes at the track.

No it was run on a crank dyno. The reason I made mention of a track dyno was so people wouldn't come here and say what you just did.

Rob not sure. that's why I'm looking for guys to Dyno what they have or if they have post their numbers. Plus I want to wait to let people prove the system on the Apex.

Nospro installed a Holtzman and I'll be riding with him in January. Hopefully he lets me take it for a pull. If it runs strong on pump gas I'll still run the holtzman. He's running 2 50HP nozzles. If they make 30 each I'd be happy with 60 hp total.

just did a today boonedocker on a sled.. Polaris Ultra..

had a 35-40 hp shot in it...

no NOS 87.4 torque 138.2 hp

w/nos 108.3 tq 172.4 hp

torque change 20.9
hp change 34.2

this is a 2 stroke so reaction might be diif on 4 stroke...

i would dyno anyones if they are in ny at a cheap rate just to do some research for all...
