I have a 2010 Yamaha vector that had a bad ground causing the ecu to fail. Was throwing codes and engine light on, no power to fuel pump.
My buddy has a 2010 nytro and once the ground was fixed, we tried his ECU and the code went away, engine light went out, everything working as it should.
Question is, what will a nytro ecu do to a vector? There is a used nytro ecu here for sale quite cheap. The only vector ecu for sale nearby is quite expensive. Just wondering if anyone would know if there would be any bad outcome using the nytro ecu in the vector?

Have you tried Barn of Parts or Laneo for an ECU?

I would talk to the guys at Evolution Motorsports as they know everything there is to know about those ECU's. I don't have their number handy but you can Google them and get the number.
