So the dealership sold me Yamaha EFI Storage Oil the other day, I was wondering if anyone has used it? The instructions state that it is for Yammy outboards and needs to be added to a portable tank then run through. Can I just dump some in my tank (1/4) and run it till it works through? What about in the fall? Fill tank and burn it off? Drain the tank? Or should I just put some into cylinders? I didn't really look at it until I got home and saw the directions. I wish I just got the spray style. This is my first time fogging a four stoke and not to sure what to do with this style of fogging oil. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I haven't used that yamaha efi storage oil, I would just get some sea foam put some in the fuel tank run the sled let it work into the fuel injectors and fuel is stabilized then. For fogging the engine you can get a can of fogging spray from a parts store and spray some into the throttle body until the machine stalls, or take the spark plugs out spray fogging oil for about 4 seconds into the cylender turn the engine over a few times then put plugs back in. I don't fog my sled as I start it a couple times in the summer, but deffently use sea foam in the fuel. Hope this helps.

Ya I usually stabilize the last tank of the year, and use the spray can style to fog the carbs on all the 2 strokes I've had. This being my first 4 stroke and never seeing this liquid style of fogging oil before I wasn't sure if I could put it in the tank as the directions say for outboards. Although it says portable tank I guess so you aren't running it through in the start of the season still. The parts kid told me that's what they use for sleds but I didn't ask how cause I assumed it would go in fuel tank. Maybe he was wrong. I'll probably just return it for the spray style, I was just curious if anyone here has used this stuff.

I've only ever used Seafoam to a full tank of premium gas (no ethanol). Never had a problem.
It does say it's for outboard motors but I can't imagine that it would be bad.

2+4
Last tank add BRP Evinrude 2+4 Fuel Conditioner and Stabilizer. With Carbs with regular use it totally eliminates the Green Crud and with EFI keeps Injectors Clean. Start up and run up to temp over the summer and fall so no need to Fog Engine. Toss in a Battery Maintainer and Good to Go.
