Electric Shield and Apex GT

What are you guys using to power your electric shield? I'd like to use the 12 volt power supply. My Vector had a factory looking plug on the console that Yamaha offered as an accessory but I don't believe that is available on the Apex.

I wired directly to the battery with an in line fuse. Used the same RCA connector that comes standard with most electric shields.

You can buy a plug in that you can wire your helmet shield wiring into..

I am using a ski-doo accessory plug, has a nice cover to keep ice out and just solder it to the factory harness on the dash.
