Electric shield on my Nytro

I have an 08 Nytro and looking to put a heated shield plug on it. I have a HJC helmet. can I just wire it directly to the battery?

Ye thats all you have to do, easiest and it will work when the sleds off just dont leave it plugged in lol

Did you install it with a fuse? If not it would be wise to add one and install on the positive side as clsoe to the battery as will allow.

I did not add a fuse and I kept blowing shields. I have a fuse now, and no problems

What amp fuse should be in there?

i use a 7.5 or a 10 amp.works for me

Use one of these from Kimpex wired directly to the battery. Drilled a small hole for it right beside the accessory plug.
