so i started up my sled at 6:50 today and it was running perfect. while its ideling i flicked on my l.e.d light switch that my dad and i put on and when i put it on the sled shut off. i tried starting it turned key on/off lots of times. and no lights on no nothing. like all my electrical is gone. im thinking its just the battery. any help thanks

noo. we hooked it up when we did winter check up about a good month ago

Sounds like you blew a fuse to me.

How did you wire it?

toggle switch on their own wires. but my father did it for me while i was gone as a suprise

So it is not wire in to any of the wire harness, just ran directly from battry.

from the tailight before. then ran from a different circut cause it was burning the fuse before

I would get the load tester out on the batter then, see if iys shot. If ot start cheacking the fusses and relays because it could have had an overload spike. If thats not the case and it and you have no electical what so ever, I would start wire testing.

I once on my amp in my car to my subworfers fried my crap. I cheacked the fuses on my apm and the fuses were ok. Tore it apart and found out my currcit fried befor getting to the fuse. It fried my main wire heading to the battery(and the fuse) jumped an fried my ground wire from the battery to all my car electical.

Sounds to me like you lost your battery ground. The only time I've seen nothing when turning the key is when the kill switch is pushed.

yeah ill check it out in the morning, and i was gonna move the sled to the shed for summer storage. i guess it didnt wanna leave yet

good news. took the panel off and it was the ignition fuse. #20 i think. put new fuse in and fired right up. but had to take it around on last time. found somefoot think hard so and braap popped up the front end for almost half the field
