I put the rubber wheels on my Vector at about 1,200 miles to see if the noise would be less. The noise was not less so it was not worth the time it took. I have 144 studs in the middle and the plastic wheels were worn uneven from the studs, but not real bad. When I put the sled away for the summer this last weekend I noticed that the rubber was gone on both the inside wheels, so its back to the plastic next year.

What stud pattern did you use for the 144 up the middle. I am going to be studding my track and if you have wheel damage, I might avoid that pattern

Which rubber wheels were you running? The 06 style (a little rubber on hard plastic using the same small bearing as the 05) or the older traditional thick rubber, wider wheels that have replaceable 6205 bearings?
