I remember someone here said that there was room for a small amout of adjustment on the engine alignment as far as center to center on the clutches. i know the engine is hard mounted but I recall someone found a way to move the engine.

i havent had top adjust mine-but looking at it i can see 4 engine bolts
and i would assume there has got to be a way to adjust it slightly somehow-the shop manual dosent say anything about it-
any body try this yet?

The RX1 as three bolts that hole down the engine. You have two up front near the battery sides and one long bolt that pass through from one side of the engine to the other side.Loose the front nuts first then remove the nuts from the front .You can not remove the bolt in front all the way because the plate is in the way.You have to make a sloted tool to turn the inside of the sleave were you push in the bolt in order to move the engine to one side.I move mine 90 tho to get it right to spec.Yours could be a lot different then mine.Hope this helps

Since the engine is bolted in the rear I guess the only movement you get is side to side on the engine. I does not sound like you get back and forth or twisting. Can you even change the center to center.

You can move the center to center by prying in front of the engine if it as to go up front,or prying to the opposite side and holding it their until the nuts are tight in place. If you are doing this then there are three steps to follow .Look up at freedy post were he tells you how it is done.It may take some time but worth every hour.

If you use 2 open end wrenches on the front mounts you should be able to gat at these with out removing the primary. The back bolt I used an extention and a universal jount to loosen the bolt without removing any thing but the side cover. In the front there are threaded collars the will thread out or in after the bolts are loose. From there you will have to pry on the motor to gue it to move. It is not very hard.
