I think many people will have different opinions on this topic.

How to properly break in the engine on 2011 apex??

Read the manual. Can't see how it can be wrong. But I'm sure there will be lots here who will say it is wrong.

By the book.. Runs awesome...Burns no oil...

Everyone does it diffrent..

Read up on both ways and decide what works best for you...

I have done it both ways. It really doesn't seem to matter. Of more importance is letting things warm up properly before you can it. JMO.

I think if you do a search, this has been beat to death 100s of times over. Probably enough to keep you reading for days.

yep both my sleds were done this way..... combined mileage of over 17000 miles and not a drop of oil burnt so far..... warming motor up is the most important thing... imo.

I agree and also letting it cool down after an hour or less of riding is right up there too imo ;)!

break it in like your going to ride it, get the rings to seat right the first time and you'll have a great sled, don't go to the lake and hold it WOT but short burst won't hurt
