When I hit a large snow drift the engine stalls and I have to restart the engine. My float levels are within specs. I was told that Yamaha has a deep float bowl avalible. I asked my local dealer and he did not know/would not tell me. I am wondering if anyone has information & part numbers for the bowls?

hard to believe that railside had no clue, as usual. i believe mountain bowls off the 04 are what your after. the 03"s that had problems were given an update kit. you could also slip a short piece of fuel line over the main jet that reaches the bottom of the bowl. the 05s are like that but the tube part is cast into the bowl.

I talked to "the owner" about this a year ago or so. He said he would check out bulletins or PSB's. Nothing was found reguarding float bowl problems.. Thank you for the help I will check the parts catalouge.
