EPS Bulletin

My power steering didn't seem to be working properly along with all my speedo and TORS issues.

Dealer asked me if I shut the sled down with the kill switch.
I told him I always use the key...well, cept once on the trail when the TORS kicked in and I was mad at the machine and slapped the kill switch.

He said, I can tell, it shows on the puter, don't do that, there is a bulletin out.
If you use the kill switch on the EPS Vectors, it can shut down the EPS.

Last weekend another guy got on my sled for a little rip and I forgot to tell him not to hit the kill switch, so now I have to go for a reset at the dealer...I gotta start writing this stuff down so I don't forget anything while I'm there

Really? How can something like that be overlooked when manufactured?

I think the same way as when they are closing a dealer but ship him my sled anyway and not bothering to ask me if I want it shipped to a different dealer so that I can at least get service from the guy I bought it from.
