Is it worth the extra $$$$ for the shocks? Can it still be adjusted for a smooth ride like the 05 RX1? I had a 2000 SRX with Ohlins and it rode very hard despite all the adjustments (Stiff springs). It would be nice to make hard for big bumps in Vermont than make smooth for northern Maine. I have to save my bad back.....
Dumping the 05 RX1 after a whole season of overheating, Shuts down in corners and goes into THOR hell, NO top end!! Gets beat by 2 different 600 Revs and a 500 was right by my side, Headlight fuse blows..... Over 2200 miles and never rode without issues.

You don't need a new sled, you need a new dealer.

On the GT, setting the clickers to full soft I was not that impressed. The Attack I rode was perfectly fine which should be like the ER. Think of the ER to be as comfy as an 05 with extra padding in the seat.

You believe the GT is valved to stiff for fast or slow trail riding? I love the sled but dont want it harsh in the bumps in the front or rear shocks! When I come to stutters I want it to absorb them not bang on them.

What is your weight riverrat??
Just to underline it again, at least 1/2 of our group loved the GT.
I think I was the lightest weight guy, so I really focused on the spring/ shock rates. The differance is fairly subtle. If you are used to pre 05 ( non monoshock), you would consider all of them but one to be pretty plush. The Nytro was the only sled that was what I would consider harsh

I'm 100% with Tork on this one, we were cutting hairs pretty thin on comparing the GT to the RA Monoshock. They all soak the bumps except the Nytro.Tork said:The differance is fairly subtle. The GT just has a real high NSQ (Neat Sh*t Quotient)

I ride hard at times if I am with friends, with family I ride slower.
