I had a similar incident occur on a ride earlier this year. It's been a while, so not certain of the codes but same symtoms. I stopped at the dealer and they said the errors where something to do with the guage cluster. It was cold in the morning then warm in the afternoon when the errors flashed. By late afternoon it cooled back down and the errors stopped flashing. It turned out to be moisture in the guage cluster. There is a rubber boot that seals the back of the guage cluster. The boot had worked itself loose allowing moisture in. I took the cluster apart and dried it out, put it back in and made sure the boot was sealed and the error's haven't flashed since. Same symptoms, engine light and temp light but can't remember exactly the error code.
