I have a 2010 vector and twice now an error code has flashed f00, the engine speed automatically decreased to idle, engine caught its breath for a few seconds, and then went back to normal. Code stopped flashing.
Any idea what this is?

Top of the page in stickys are frequently asked questions and it has a list of error codes.
There is no F00 listed
I had a speedo problem that was setting my TORS off and it acted like that but I had the proper error codes for it

F000 is that you're low on gas, and it starts recording the miles traveled since the notice flashed on. It should go to F001, 002, and so on every mile until you refuel.
I have ran mine down low enough a few times to get this, but the engine has never idled down. But I have my TORS disabled, maybe the two are interconnected to bring it to your attention that you're low on gas????
Once you put gas in to fill above the low level sensor, the code will go away on its own.

This is interesting. Both times when it has happened there has been ample fuel in the tank. It wasnt full, but it certainly had a minimum of 8-10 litres in it.
I added a throttle gizmo this fall which attaches underneath the throttle flipper. i wonder if that has messed with the TORS?
The engine definitely idled down. One time, I was squeezing it pretty hard and was in deep snow, and it felt as though it was shutting down completely. It went to idle, flashed the code 3 times and then went away. At that occurance, i assumed the engine may have injested snow....
Thanks for the response. Will keep running it to see what is happening.

I installed the throttle gizmo on a 05 Vector and it wasn't a perfect fit. I had to modify the gizmo to make it fit and it also interfered with the throttle free play which would trip the TOR. After a few adjustments it works fine now.

Hey grizzTracks
What did you do to the gizmo so it didn't affect the tors?
I wondered whether that bolt would affect things when I installed it.
