k well my sled comes up with the two error codes, er1 and er2 but they come on and off as they please pretty much, starts up with nothing but once and a while it will come on and sometimes stay on as well,I read on here that they are about no signal read or read in a time period, i noticed that my rubber boot under the tack had come off, , so I was just wondering if i got snow up inside the tack if it might do this, just started doing this, this year,

I would guess it ether moisture because of the boot it is there for a reason or just a loose conection. Pull the connector and check for corrosion if there is some clean it and put dielectric grease on it. If not just plug it back in but regardless make sure the boot is in place. The guage cluster is around 500 bucks if you fry it.

ya there is no corrosion on the plug but ya the moisture thing makes sense, so i have it drying inside my house on a register for the night and i was going to try that but its nice to see from someone else s point of vue, is that a big big deal if that comes on when im riding, just wondering

I am just guessing but it sounds like it is just a lack of contact with the cluster. So worse comes to worse it wont run any more because the cluster runs alot of the electronic stuff on the sled.
