Dear Yamaha (thats like Santa), can I get my order in for next year yet? Could I PLEASE order up a 180 HP four cylinder snowmobile that weighs no more than 520 lbs. for real, has good wind protection, hand warmers that really work, 137" iceripper XT track with extroverts like Ski-Doo that don't ratchet, A really nice suspension with the GT style electronic adjust with tq. links like Cat and Polaris-that has big tunnel clearance, I would like it in that beautiful red metallic color like my 07 Attak has, I would also like to have a hood that hinges normally with dual headlights attached to it to make things easier to access, I would also like an easily accessible oil filter. Did I mention 180 HP? 170 would do, but 180 would better. Put me down for TWO @180!, and Yamaha, please don't forget the 137" Iceripper XT Track!

Just what I want for xmas next year It would be a monster to start installing a turbo on, doubling the HP would be enough,...... I think.

Well.......I wasn't going to chim in on this one.....but.....

I will not purchase a newer Yamaha until they get their hand warmers HOT.

I did the 06 handle bars with the 07 harness and now have warm hands. I will keep my 06 Attak until the new ones get warm hand warmers!!

Yes.....warm hands are important to me.

I AM THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED WITH WHERE YOU HAVE COME IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME WITH YOUR 4 STROKES.

I would own 2 or 3 by now but there is always one thing stopping me.

THEY ARE TOO SMALL.!!
I am only 6.2'' at 210 lbs and the only Yamaha I can sit on comfortably is a touring sled (Which I don't want)

I tried on an 07 attack last week for size and my knees were up to my chin. And my butt sitting on the hump in the back of the seat
My size 11 boots would hardly fit in the toe holders.

You are losing out on significant market share by not taking this issue seriously.

The previous to 2008 model Vector etc was almost big enough and now it too is eliminated from my list as it went to the delta 3 design ??

Not to mention a competitor but lets just say his initilas are X.P.
Well this guy X.P. has built a sled that finally realizes all sledders aren't 5.2''
It fits me like a glove.

Suggestion :

Steal the exact same measurements/Ergonomics of the XP and put it in a 150 Hp Yamaha


I'll be the first guy lined up at the local dealer to buy one and I know lot's of others who would jump ship as well.

Part of me wonders if all the handwarmer complaints aren't due to the warmers but because both the Apex and FX Nytro rider forward and have far less wind protection than the older RX-1 and Viper?

You bet, I have handlebars 5.5" higher than stock running the lowest RX-1 windshield. My hands are definitively colder now than before the mods. Before the mods I usually ran the warmers at 3 bars, now I have them at full most of the time. Next mod is installing hand guards if my windshield allows.

Nope.........nothing to do with it. Like I said....I did the 06 handle bars with the 07 harness and my hands are now nice & warm!!

Yam needs to address the cold hand warmers.
