Everyone wants me to buy a new sled. And I'm like, I love my apex

the motor is addictive !!!!!!!!!
Totaled my 06 GT late last winter .
New 2015 XTX waiting to be picked up .
Trying to decide what upgrades to do .
WRP seat , Star suspension kit , ?,?,? Any suggestions ?
HID 's , DuPont sliders , scratchers , and riser are going on as soon as I pick it up.

When my 07 Attak got to 10000 miles on it I went and got another machine. I got another 07 with 800 miles on the clock. :) Switched the goodies I invested in the first to the second..even better still.

I had a tank bag. Powdercoated and welded supported w arms. 4th wheel kit front wheel kit. New replaceable Yami wheels. Yamaheater with booster. Ice scratchers, GPS mounts. Pilot ski's.
But the guy who got the old sled got 800 mile Rails,w arms, wheels, axles, etc. The machine had 10000 on it. He made out as well. He only paid $3500 for it. Good and tight and low milage suspension, etc. New Hyfax as well. I let the Oillite bushings go with the old machine as well.

WRP seat and MTN bar riser, just awesome....

All my friends are buying new skidoos and arctic cats and I'm still over here saying "I love my sled and I'm gonna drive it till it dies"

12,000 miles on this beast and still runs perfect. .. 6000 miles on my second track and tunnel coolers leak a little and I need to fix the broken exhaust but I'm never letting it go.. love this sled and I don't see a reason to upgrade

I like your sled, nice pic of the trail too! I feel the same way about my apex... I have no need/ want for another sled other than another apex for the heck of it. I have been riding for over 40yrs and have driving everything but nothing feels and delivers the overall experience like the apex IMHO.I added a fast m-10 air rear suspension,( personal choice) Ulmer clutching(stock was good too) and some time fine tuning along with proper set-up and it is hands down the best sled I have ever ridden or owned. I think in time it will become the best sled ever made for what it delivers.... I have never had a sled that I feel will live for this long.

I've got so many mobs to my flood that I can't even remember them all. Lol

Pilot Mountain skis, 13 millimeters sway bar, 4th wheel kit, sly dog wheels, rx1 slides, Cobra track ,gearing custom paint, beef up kit, Xtra rivets

welterracer, regarding the rx1 slides, are they narrower? Thicker? What was the reason you went with them?

Also I have HIDs, 5.5 rear spring and revalve from pioneer, front shocks have been rebuilt twice (second time had to replace the body) Ulmer bushing kit in the front arms with grease zerts, and of coarse powder coating done by me as well

So you guys have some miles on your Apexes. Anyone crack an exhaust flex pipe? Toward the end of last winter, think it was our last ride, my sled was annoyingly loud....gave me a headache. Thought it was the donuts, which I had replaced at 1500 miles, but they were okay. Found a crack in one of the flex pipes. I have about 3000 miles on the sled.
