I have a 2014 viper ltx. I have had the second reflash done that came out in 2015 and didnt notice any change except that sometimes it takes two cranks to start instead of one. Does yamaha charge us for the most current flash if the sled is no longer under warranty? I am also wondering if anybody has the Evo reflash done with 87 octane and can option that they offer for 550.00. and if so what gaines did you see? they say it changes to more rpms so you wont hit the rev limiter until around 9800 rpms or so. this also means that you would have to remove some tip weight to clutch to gain more rpms as the goal was around 9100 rpms correct? Also does the evo ecu reprograming take care of the start issues? anyone that has had the evo flash please let me know if it is worth the money thanks
