I didn't run across this thread until now.....sorry for the late arrival but no seat time this year(medical issue).......I have the EVO 2.5 reflash(87 octane) running MBRP can, airbox mod, Big Venom clutch kit, 8DN version Gates belt on my '14 X-TX........NOTICEABLE seat of the pants improvement and I'm a BIG guy.......I put over 1k miles on this setup last season with no issues at all........FWIW

My Nytro with mediocre clutching ( revving 9300 ) runs 101 mph on radar in 1000'.....speedo reads the same, maybe a tad higher but not 8mph higher



I would go with an airbox mod first... dyno proven, whether it's Ulmer, Excells or whoever else's....they make good gains on the Viper....cheaper than a flash too.

So your speedo is correct? Never saw a Nytro that speedo was right. Yours is first. Any mods on your Nytro?

thanks for the input budda! I think im going to do the airbox mod and then see if that wakes it up a little more.

So far it's been correct...at least in 1000' . My mods are listed in my sig. the sled felt faster with Turks Drag n Fly set up

Did you all the mods at once? What is your speed and max rpms?
