Evolution ECU tunes on Vipers/7000

Is there anyone out there running the Evo viper/7000 tunes? If so, what has been your experience? Worth the money? Looking to keep stock exhaust and possibly stock airbox as I found that taking away the velocity stocks reduces throttle response. Restrictions create response but hinders top end power. I will take some peak power loss over a lazy low end response. Any other info you may have about the tunes would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running a turbo now, but used to have the evo stage 4 flash with slp header, sandale can, Tp big venom clutch kit and ulmers 3 individual k&n filters with velocity stacks for an intake, an awesome combo for anyone that wants to stay n/a, next best thing to turbo for sure.
Not sure what gains you'll have going to just a stage 2 or so but I think it's worth it just for the one attempt super quick starts and raised rev limiter.

I am running the 2.5 with their exhaust. It is a great tune. My Viper was, right out of the crate, backfiring worse than any old two stroke I have ever had in the past. That is what pushed me over the edge. That issue has certainly been eliminated. I am really happy with the sled until I jump back on the winder..... At best, I am only pushing 9100 rpms at the moment, may lighten the clutch kit just a touch to pull a few more hundred. Was it all worth it? I am pretty neutral on it. Almost every product I have put on it has been an awesome quality, but truth be told, I would rather have a stock winder. (not that the winder is stock either though hehe...)

Wow that’s crazy in my opinion. You can get a car dyno tuned for that or close. They would sell a lot more if they were reasonable.

I agree if they came down to like $300 a tune, they would have tons of people getting them, should be able to tune and package ecu for return in under an hour, how many of us make $260 an hour?

It's a time consuming process to flash the ECU since they actually have to pry the box open and probe pt to flash it, it's not a simple plug-in and flash process.

I understand the process and I am all for aftermarket companies and vendors to be profitable, but what happened to a 30-40% mark up, not 300% and with the sidewinder now they should try and get all the viper customers that they can but I guess they don't care anymore about the sled side of things as their sxs side is booming.

You also have consider the amount of time they took to rewrite the map for each of their flashes. Intellectual property is just as valuable as tangible property. If you don't want a flash which has been written by a reputable vendor, has been tested, and has been shown on a dyno, you are welcome to buy a power commander, an auto tune, a pd 300 data logger and an ignition module and do it all yourself. I promise that the tested EVO route is cheaper.

I have the 2.5 flash and added a header over the summer. Was yours ok fuel wise? Didn't run lean or anything?

Last I checked (the other day) they are not offering these tunes anymore

YES, I think their machine broke. I had A stage 4 flash on A 14 Viper ltx with ulmer cluth kit, header, self moded airbox and mbrp trail can. that really woke the machine up. It started right up every time with the flash.

Could the Vipers make 150hp with all these mods mentioned on this thread?

I think so. I used up A 2014 800 pro R polaris that was stock. got him out of the hole and A sled length all the way till 80 or so when we had to brake for length constrictions. I never had it on the dyno, but it was quick for sure. Maybe Canondale knows for sure,he is A viper Guru to be sure.
