Does anyone have higher mileage on there Excell exhaust. Like greater than 2000 miles. Just curious of the high mileage durability with the exhaust header. Heard rumors the headers wear out(i.e. crack, wear at the donuts, etc.) when they start getting higher mileage on them.

Have my Excell Exhaust in my work room ready to install, but I average 2000 miles a season on my sled.

I rode 2300 the first year on mine and it was fine, I put exhaust donuts in last summer just because I had it apart. Now I have close to 4000 miles on it but I have not took it apart yet to inspect.

I have put on 1,600 miles of torture to mine this year and still works great. I have buckled my tunnel in the middle from a 200 foot drop no damage and ran my under tunnel set up with no hanger on the muffler cause I wanted to ride and I jump a lot so I bowed the header before I took the time to make the mount and I have still had no issues with cracks, leaks or anything. I ride every day as hard as I can And I figure If I can break it, it was not tough enough. Yes mines bowed but its from me and it shows the kind of force that thing can take and not crack or cause any performance effects. My donuts have ben in and out at least a dozen times and have 2k miles on them without leaking.

I have got close to 5000 kilometers on my full system, which would be 3108 miles. No issues at all, but during the absolutely last ride of the season I did notice the "ticking" sound at idle which usually means exhaust leak. At this moment I do not know if this comes from one or more blown donuts, flex tubes or from the exhaust system itself. After I stop mourning that the season is over, I will check...
