I ran it with the stock air box as well as with a supercharger. I kept all the stock jets in, and raised the needles one clip I believe.

FYI...Mine is installed with stock airbox but I have the GREEN Holzman spings and I raised the needles 1 clip as well.
VERY snappy and not that loud at all....but man...it sounds great

After a 300+ mile day, my stock exhaust noise bothers me. How the heck do you guys handle it?
Just about every trail our club lost in the last few years, the landowners mentioned 'noisy sleds' as a factor.
Unfortunately, seemed that most of the guys causing the problem weren't the guys doing the trail work.

excell exhaust
I hear you tshelver, but the excell exhaust is no where near two stroke loud annoying, cracky, or high pitched! It has a nice rumble like a yami street bike, not a Harly with baffles removed. We havn`t lost a trail up here from noise that I know of. I`m 50 this year and couldn`t stand much noise, so the excell fits right in!

AMEN
Haven't ridden with it but at idle it sure does sound nice. Exactly as HEMI describes.....EXACTLY what I was looking for.
